WFW hosts screening of The Long Night

Women for Women and Senator Terry and Mr. Ted Van Duyn are pleased to bring the film,The Long Night, to Asheville. No community is immune from human trafficking, including Western North Carolina. The Long Night offers a glimpse into the increasing crisis of the sex trafficking of minors. The film explains what the factors are that contribute to human trafficking and highlights the stories of several families whose lives have been forever changed by domestic minor sex trafficking. After the film, Mamie Adams from Our VOICE will provide information on what is being done in Asheville to identify and combat human trafficking.
