What is a Field of Interest fund?

A field of interest fund supports a broadly defined area such as the arts, the environment or health. Fundholders identify their area of interest and utilize the Foundation’s expertise to identify grantees. The minimum gift to establish a named field of interest fund is $10,000.

Create a field of interest fund when you are passionate about a community issue and want to support it in perpetuity.

Our development staff can help you open a field of interest fund or make a gift to one of our existing endowments.

About

The Ruth Paddison Charitable Fund supports grants focused on children and family services in the region. The Children and Family Resource Center's GLO mobile reaches children under the age of five who are not in structured care and enhances and support their learning by creating fun and interactive high-quality experiences to prepare them for kindergarten. The GLO mobile also offers parents an opportunity to learn more about how they can support their child’s learning and offers connections to other parents, resources, and support. Photo by CFWNC.
