The McDowell Endowment seeks to improve the quality of life in McDowell County by promoting charitable giving and supporting projects that benefit its communities and residents. Grants up to $5,000 are provided for charitable purposes. 

The Fund for Mitchell County seeks to improve the quality of life in Mitchell County by promoting charitable giving and supporting projects that benefit communities and residents. Grants up to $5,000 are provided for charitable purposes.

The Transylvania Endowment seeks to improve the quality of life in Transylvania County by supporting projects that benefit its communities and residents. Grants of up to $7,000 are available to nonprofit organizations and public agencies for charitable purposes.

The Fund for Haywood County seeks to improve the quality of life in Haywood County by supporting projects that benefit its communities and residents. Grants of up to $7,500 are available to nonprofit organizations and public agencies for charitable purposes.

The Asheville Merchants Fund (AMF) seeks to improve the quality of life in Buncombe County by supporting projects or programs that strengthen economic effects in the community. The Fund provides grants of up to $35,000 a year over three years.

Women for Women seeks to contribute to a region of shared prosperity and belonging where all who identify as women and girls benefit from equitable opportunities and outcomes.

Grants of $35,000 are available to nonprofit organizations and public agencies for general operating support. This grant program aims to increase economic stability for women and girls through access to affordable housing, childcare, and/or nutrition. 

The Yancey Fund seeks to improve the quality of life in Yancey County by supporting projects that benefit its communities and residents. Grants of up to $10,000 are available to nonprofit organizations and public agencies for charitable purposes, including programmatic needs and operating expenses.

The Rutherford County Endowment seeks to improve the quality of life in Rutherford County by supporting projects that benefit its communities and residents. Grants of up to $10,000 are available to nonprofit organizations and public agencies for charitable purposes, including programmatic needs and operating expenses.

The Black Mountain-Swannanoa Valley Endowment Fund seeks to improve the quality of life in the Black Mountain and Swannanoa Valley community by making grants relating to health and wellness, education, cultural and natural resources, and human services. Grants of up to $10,000 are available to nonprofit organizations and public agencies for charitable purposes, including programmatic needs and operating expenses.
