The Highlands Community Fund seeks to improve the quality of life in Highlands by supporting projects that benefit the community and its residents.
Grants of $2,500 to $10,000 are available to nonprofit organizations and public agencies for charitable purposes, including programmatic needs, capital campaigns and operating expenses.

CFWNC awards grants up to $25,000 in a combined Human Services and Education grant cycle. Human Services grants support programs and projects that address the needs of people in our mountain communities who are disadvantaged economically. Education grants support early childhood development, K-12, and adult education in Western North Carolina in specified subject areas.
