Meet Lauren Jameson Wolfe

Jameson Wolfe from Asheville High School received the Marilyn Lester and William Lester Scholarship valued at $40,000 over four years. She attends NC State University where she plans to study aerospace engineering. “I love problem-solving and design. However, I am also greatly concerned with the urgent necessity of taking significant action against climate change. I plan to enter the workforce as an engineer and work toward decreasing environmental destruction and developing renewable energy source technology into air and space travel.”
