About Grants

CFWNC makes grants and works with fundholders to support promising projects across 18 counties.

Grants

Grants are made to nonprofit 501(c)(3) organizations and public agencies serving the following 18 counties: Avery, Buncombe, Burke, Cherokee, Clay, Graham, Haywood, Henderson, Jackson, Macon, Madison, McDowell, Mitchell, Polk, Rutherford, Swain, Transylvania and Yancey and including the Qualla Boundary.

Through a careful review process, the Foundation's staff and board work together to award grants that strengthen the nonprofit sector. In simple terms, CFWNC grants are an investment in the future of our region.

Electronic Grant Payments

You can submit this information through our secure online portal or by mail. For information about the electronic grant payments review these FAQs. If you have additional questions regarding the electronic grant payments process or need the link to the secure portal, contact Melissa Crouse, Finance Associate. En EspaƱol.
