Scholarship Funds

"My name is Sierra Lindsey and I am a graduate of East Henderson High School in Flat Rock, North Carolina. I attend University of Georgia to study Psychology. After receiving my undergraduate degree, I hope to further my education by going to graduate school. I have chosen to go into the mental health field because I have always loved working with and being around people, and I believe strongly that the stigma surrounding mental health is one that needs to be broken." What is a Scholarship Fund?

The Foundation offers several options for donors who are interested in supporting educational opportunities for deserving students across our region. Gifts of any amount to support scholarship awards to high school students may be made to the Foundation's Fund for Scholarships. With a gift of $25,000 or more, you may create a named scholarship fund with awards made through the Foundation's WNC Regional Scholarship program. With a gift of $100,000 or more, you may create a named fund with your preferred selection criteria and a customized selection committee.
