CFWNC Announces December Grants

In the face of bleak economic news, The Community Foundation of Western North Carolina announced that grants in December from their donor advised funds totaled $919,837, a number slightly below what was distributed during the same period last year.  The total includes $705,217 going directly to Western North Carolina nonprofits supporting emergency assistance, healthcare, economic vitality, education and the environment.
